If you don’t believe in a higher power, that’s fine of course - but it’s hard to ignore how symbolic an African American as President of these United States is, which might be high on the list of symbolic acts a rational god would employ in these times. Just a few thoughts: Be grateful, and graceful, in victory or defeat. Be united, because divided we fell (hard). Stand with him. He’s gonna need us.
